Dr. Chea showed a totally unprofessional attitude towards my wife while she was in for an "emergency visit" as scheduled by the receptionist the previous day. Immediately after introducing himself to us, he said that unfortunately he cannot help us. This is before he even sat down, or looked at my wife. He stood with his back against the wall, as if to say "I can't get any closer to you because, you're not making me any money." Which is what he said, but not in so many words. He did say though, because he "wasn't making anything on procedure or production, he could not help." Even though my wife filled out the new patient information, and has good insurance, he said because you had your tooth pulled at another dentist, you must go to that other dentist. We explained that our regular dentist is out of town for a week. He said "doesn't matter." He also asked if we were prescribed antibiotics, we said no. He then said that he couldn't do it, because he doesn't know what's going on with her. And then, on the way out the door, as I apologized for interrupting whatever better plans he had at 7 a.m. other than being a dentist, he said, "yeah, I take care of my own patients, right." The worst experience I've had in my life, and I was just a passenger.
Aspen dental isn’t my normal dentist but when my dentist went out of town after pulling one of my teeth I called aspen dental to see if I could get an emergency appointment because I was having severe pain in the whole right side of my mouth. I made the appt but when I got there they had me fill out the new patient paperwork which I did and then before I was called back I heard the dr say “don’t even put in her insurance, we are just going to look at her and send her home”. When I got into the back, the dr didn’t even look in my mouth before he said that there was nothing he could do for me because he wasn’t my regular dentist. Whenever he finally did look in my mouth for a measly five seconds, he said that the extraction site was healing. I wound up in the er the next night due to the pain and vomiting where the dr told me that the extraction site was INFECTED!!! Luckily they were able to help and gave me antibiotics but I am livid!!! This doctor could have helped me and chose not to. I was able to finally see that there is a peice of what looks like Tooth bone or root stuck in the gums that is causing all of this and had the dr at aspen dental just taken the time to look, he would have realized this and could have saved everyone a lot of trouble. Very unprofessional and rude!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! I understand that it may be policy that they can’t see other patients but they had me fill out the new patient paperwork so I was a new patient!! And also... they did look in my mouth regardless. If anything, they could have at least told me that it was infected and to go to the er instead of treating me the way that they did.
When I came for some pain in my back teeth, I got x-rays and that went fine. Then the doctor came back and told me I needed two root canals done BUT said that they can't or wouldn't do the procedure there? They gave me estimated prices but never had me make another appointment to come back. I didn't understand why a root canal couldn't be done there when other procedures like wisdom teeth removal and more are done there? So now I have to go somewhere else to get it done. Makes no sense.
2 thumbs down! You'd expect the workers to smile and show their teeth, right? Not here. I cant believe how rude they are! They gave me a hard time just giving me a shot of water; they gave me a quarter of a little paper shot cup, with a bad attitude. The place was filthy too. And the dentist? I didn't like him. This place sucks! I do not recommend
Excellent first visit. Very professional and informative. if this is any indication of the future service, I am eager to get started. Everyone I interfaced with was very friendly and professional.
