Food is great, comes out hot and perfect everytime, plus no wait time so it's quick. Pastries are also always a treat, cookies, gobs, doughnuts are great.
The Sweet Spot is a local diner and bakery with unbelievable homemade food at great prices. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and they always offer meals with quality ingredients. Their salads are made the minute you order them so all the vegetables are crisp and fresh. Dressings and soups are made from scratch. Their cabbage rolls, meatloaf, raviolis, eggs, and burgers are delicious and taste like they were made by your grandmother. The Sweet Spot is so much more than a bakery, I go there at least twice a week for either breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
I've tried many meals here, all great too! Tim is very selective on what ingredients he uses and I assure you that is why it's so good. I've had the eggs, sandwiches, specials, and many pastries. Sometimes I'm too busy to cook and need a quick meal before or after work and this place is usually what comes to mind. Food is great, then I leave and come back another day, hungry for the same thing yet when I order up and the food comes, I get the same goodness in taste no unexpected change, and I like consistency. Very consistently good, so I can expect same good flavors and if you like Meatloaf, then try it out on Meatloaf special day. They make a mean meatloaf! Customer service is great as well. Everyone here is on top of their operation. Rare find in the diner category with the perfect marriage of price and quality of food, in my opinion this rates top.
Wonderful friendly service, with the true homemade meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This place is so much more than a bakery. It is an old school diner with everything that entails. Salads are fresh, dressings are homemade, sauces and soups made from scratch. You can buy soups by the liter, pre order baked goods to-go for gifts or just to take home. We love this place and it is an essential go-to location for the Rostraver community.
The soups here are homemade and absolutely fantastic! It has a HomeTown feel and the people are very personable and hospitable. The food is excellent especially for the price. It's a great place to get a homemade meal when you're not able to make one at home.
